Final Change! Money Due April 30th!

We apologize for the recent changes in venue, but we have done much research and believe that this change will provide us with better opportunities to enjoy the lake and all it has to offer and will better meet our needs. As you can see above, our living arrangements will be a bit nicer than the previous condos selected. We’ll also be staying in a more densely populated city - Page, AZ! There are grocery stores, restaurants, and everything we need to have an enjoyable stay.

Lodging:

            We’ll be renting 4 vacation homes, all of which are owned by the same property manager in Page, AZ. They are very close to the Colorado River, just near the Glen Canyon Dam (which you can see from the balcony), and only a short drive away from the lake. Two of the homes have 4 bedrooms and the other two have 3 bedrooms. Total sleeping accommodations = 40 (14 bedrooms, 10 full baths, 4 half baths). The lot is large enough for a tent so our campers will have a place, too! The properties are within walking distance of each other, so coordinating plans and large meals will be more convenient.

Cost:

            The totals I’ve calculated include everyone (including infants for rental/insurance purposes), though we’ve had some people say they will not be able to join us. So with 44 people attending (including infants), the cost is $167.00* a person for the 4 day, 3 night stay. The cost is comparable to our previous arrangements – it was $978.51 for each condo; now it’s $835.00 for a family of 5 – additionally, it’s in a better location with proximity to stores, medical care, etc. (*note that this price is only for the lodging and does not include entertainment or food costs – future posts will discuss those items – see http://www.visitpagelakepowell.com/ for ideas!).

This will be the final change in venue. We need a final decision if you can attend! Pam has paid half of the cost up front and will pay the remaining balance by July 1st. Please send a check made out to Pam Nophsker for $167.00 x # of people in your family by April 30th (so we can pay off our cards within the month!)

Once again, we appreciate your understanding with the changes. It took time for us to take into consideration all of the many suggestions made (and this IS my first rodeo!) We appreciate the help and we feel now that this will be the best location for us. Hopefully we all understand that with our ever-increasing group of people, it’s hard to accommodate every need, so if we are not able to make it perfect for your circumstances, I hope you will not take offense. We're greatly looking forward to seeing everyone!
